Applications for Single Rooms will be available on-line in the student portal beginning Thursday, February 1, 2018. Applications must be submitted prior to 4:30 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 . No application will be accepted after 4:30 pm. Once your application has been received and reviewed for accuracy in points, you will be notified whether or not you have qualified to continue on in the single room selection process. You will receive this notice on Monday March 26, 2018. Room selection will be held in the Baxter Hall Murray Room on, Tuesday March 27, 2018 Please note: Students do NOT have to participate in the Baxter Room selection in order to participate in the Single Room selection process.

  1. Each student must complete an individual returning student application.
  2. Each student must submit a both a Residence Hall Application and single room request application.
  3. Each student should complete the point section as it applies to them.
  4. Calculate the total number of points your group has by using the chart below (do not include judicial points). We will verify your point totals prior to notifying you of your acceptance into the room selection process.
  5. Please choose a contact person for your group. This contact person should be someone who checks their campus mail & email daily.

-1 point for each minor violation (Community property & space, guest policy, quiet hours, key and guard card policy, restricted areas, solicitation & sales, failure to comply, sign policy)
-2 points for each major violation (Any alcohol violation, pets, smoking, discrimination, fire safety, disruptions or protest, theft, violence, vandalism, drugs, assault, harassment)
-3 plus violations: Residential Life reserves the right to not allow you to live in Baxter, depending on the nature of the violations
